I have been super busy lately. Getting certified as a health coach. Hiring my own business coach and learning from her. Coaching my practice clients. Working my full time job. And all the other things that come with having a home and family.
Is it disheartening to realize that you are in a funk when you are trying to accomplish something positive in your life and in the lives of those around you?
Yes, it is.
You think to yourself, gah! I thought I was past all these low self-esteem feelings a long time ago. Why do I constantly have to be bothered with this same crap?
I have been thinking abou this and I believe it may be the way that you continuously realize that you are human and you are stronger than you may know.
Every time I go through a low spot, I always come through it. I have never gone back to the depths of not wanting to live. I honestly don't believe I have even really been standing precariously close to that precipice any time that I have gone through a low time since and that has been 11 years ago and trust me when I say, I have been through some very low times in the last 11 years. I am not sure that it will ever just be smooth sailing and I am not sure that would be healthy for me either because I need to be reminded of those feelings and my strengths to overcome them.
So, how do you overcome the low spots?
You do the things that you know you have done in the past that have worked.
For me, that means meditation and reading some upbeat literature.
In order to be truly happy, you need to have a connection with your higher power. For some that will be God. For others, the Source, Mother Earth, etc.
It is time once again to strengthen that connection.
Love and Vibrant Life to You All!
