Moving Forward

Hey there!

Do you sometimes feel like you have become stagnant in your health, movement, life, etc?

You are not alone. We all go through these periods in our lives. We know in our mind that we need to drink more water. eat healthier, exercise regularly, rest/relax, breathe, and all those other things that we know will make us feel better but sometimes we just don't do it. Stop beating yourself up about it.

The key to moving forward is to remember that sometimes you are not...

Self Love

What is all this talk about self love? Why is it important?

Wow! I cannot believe it has been over a month since the last time I wrote a blog. I am going to start writing at least once a week again.

What have I been doing over the past month? I have been learning and growing. Through the books I am reading/listening to, my coaching school, my coaching sessions with my clients and my coaching sessions with my coach I have been doing a whole lot of listening and observing. Everyone ...

Starting on a Journey

Posted on July 31, 2016 at 2:35 PM Comments comments (1)

I have been thinking about how we start journeys in our lives.

The first step is always to take inventory in our life to determine if the journey is one we want to start.

  • is the journey good for you?
  • is it necessary?
  • is the destination enjoyable?

The second step is setting our mind to the task of preparing for the journey.

  • make a map to your destination
  • determine the pit stops and obstacles that might be on the road you are ta...

Pulling Yourself Up By Your Bootstraps

Posted on July 19, 2016 at 9:45 AM Comments comments (41)

I have been super busy lately. Getting certified as a health coach. Hiring my own business coach and learning from her. Coaching my practice clients. Working my full time job. And all the other things that come with having a home and family.

Is it disheartening to realize that you are in a funk when you are trying to accomplish something positive in your life and in the lives of those around you?

Yes, it is.

You think to yourself, gah! I thought I was past all these low sel...

Drawing Positive Energy

Posted on June 11, 2016 at 8:10 AM Comments comments (4)

It's Saturday morning and I am working on a lot of things this weekend but the most important thing that I have been working on lately is being more positive.

This week I have noticed that the more I have worked on my own positive thinking, the more I have drawn positive messages into my life and shied away from negative vibes.

What do I mean by that?

I have been focused on positive thoughts, positive energy, positive outcomes for me, my co-workers, my classmates, my family...

Striving for Perfection

Posted on June 1, 2016 at 10:55 AM Comments comments (3)

I have been thinking about this for several days now and wanted to share this with you.

Most people make the mistake of striving for perfection.

There is really no such thing as perfection because perfection means that once you attain the goal you no longer work at it. Think about it, really, there is always something more you can do. A deeper committment, a higher calling.

Instead of striving for perfection, we should instead be striving just to be better. Better than...

Goals, Progress, Celebration!

Posted on May 8, 2016 at 9:45 PM Comments comments (4)

This week I have been thinking about what we celebrate in life. We celebrate successes, achievements, life events etc.

If you are losing any weight at all. If you are exercising routinely. If you are eating healthier. If you are drinking more water.

If you are setting and reaching goals, then CELEBRATE your achievements. You do not have to go hog wild to celebrate.

Make sure you do not overlook these achievements. Use them as milestones to show your progress in any given er...

ALL IN!

Posted on April 28, 2016 at 7:15 AM Comments comments (2)

When I decided to take this journey, there was not a single part of me that was not in it. I decided that I was going to do this mind, soul and body (hence the name of the website and company).

I have uncertainty for sure. I am not sure how everything is going to come together. I am not sure how long it is going to take to really get off the ground. I am not sure where I will find my clients.

What I do know, THIS is where I am going. THIS is where I need to be. THIS is going to ...

Changing Your Mind

Posted on April 23, 2016 at 5:50 PM Comments comments (9)

Not about getting healthy.

Sometimes you need to change your mind about how you perceive life, love, fitness, exercise, your self image.

I have been practicing self-image love for years. If you have ever been at a point in your life when you felt like you were unlovable (or maybe that is exactly where you are today), that is when you need to learn to love yourself. Even some of the most beautiful people in the world feel unlovable and ugly sometimes.

There is a saying, "if ...
